- "Christopher's Bear Parade" at the Seneca Park Zoo, co-sponsored with CURE Childhood Cancer. September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. This event consists of a teddy bear parade, entertainment by Gary the Happy Pirate and goodie bags for the participants.

- "Lessons Learned . . . A Guide for Organizing A Successful Bone Marrow Drive" drafted. This manual takes a step-by-step approach to holding a bone marrow drive. This in-depth guide can be distributed to families and/or friends wanting to hold a bone marrow drive.
