- June 1999 – Fundraiser held at Dentico’s Restaurant - $1,230.00 raised.
- July 1999 – paid $200 to Strong Memorial Hospital for a local patient’s tissue typing costs.
- August 1999 – “Lessons Learned . . . A Guide for Organizing A Successful Bone Marrow Drive” drafted. This manual takes a step-by-step approach to holding a bone marrow drive. This in-depth guide can be distributed to families and/or friends wanting to hold a bone marrow drive.
- September 1999 – “Christopher’s Bear Parade” at the Seneca Park Zoo, co-sponsored with CURE Childhood Cancer. September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. This event consists of a teddy bear parade, entertainment by Gary the Happy Pirate and goodie bags for the participants.
- November 1999 - two bone marrow drives were held in the Rochester community. Co-sponsored with Strong Memorial Hospital. Over 300 people attended these drives and all costs of typing of blood samples were paid for by Christopher’s Challenge.
- December 1999 – paid $3,000 to Memorial Sloan Kettering for a local patient’s tissue typing costs.
- January 2000 – fundraising efforts by WMCC, a radio station at Monroe Community College, raised $862.06.

- September 2000 – Second Annual Christopher’s Bear Parade held at the Seneca Park Zoo. Co-sponsored with CURE Childhood Cancer Association. A bone marrow drive was added this year. Christopher’s Challenge paid for the typing of 39 people.
- October 2000 – Hike for Life held at Ellison Park co-sponsored with the Bone Marrow Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital. This two-mile journey raised $9,990.
- November 2000 – Co-sponsored bone marrow drive with Strong Memorial Hospital. 143 people were typed with the support of Christopher’s Challenge.
- November 2000 – Provided two copies of the “Lessons Learned” Manual for the New England Marrow Donor Program.

- July 2002 – 3rd annual Hike for Life at Highland Park co-sponsored with The Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at Strong Memorial Hospital. $11,000 was raised.
- July 2002 - $2,000 was paid to The Blood Center of SE WI Inc. for chimerism tests for patients at Strong Memorial Hospital.
